• You can use cotton or acrylic strips of fabric or even cut up old clothes to make them. Match it with a brightly coloured yarn that will be offset against the fabric.

• Covering a book with fabric is much like covering it with paper. Begin with removing the cover from the book.
• Cut your fabric according to the size of the book, leaving an extra inch overhanging from all sides.
