  • 1 ½ cup all purpose flour and ½ cup buttermilk

  • 3/4 tsp baking powder and 1/4 + 1/8 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves and ½ tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup molasses and 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup packed dark brown sugar and 2 large eggs
  • 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract and ½ firm Bartlett pear (chopped)

How to Make It

  • Preheat the oven and grease an 8X4 inch loaf pan. Now, whisk together flour, baking powder, ginger, cinnamon, baking soda, salt and cloves in a bowl.
  • Combine buttermilk and molasses in a bowl and set aside. Till the time, beat brown sugar and butter in a bowl till it becomes fluffy. After a while, reduce the speed and add eggs and vanilla.
  • Now, mix flour mix and molasses alternatively and keep on mixing in a way that start and end should be done with flour mix.
  • Fold in some pears and transfer this mixture into baking pan and bake for 40-50 minutes and serve when cooled completely.

  • Now, take another bowl and beat canola oil, cocoa powder, hazelnut spread with ¾ cup warm water on low speed for about 30 seconds.
  • Now, add eggs one at a time and keep on beating until mixed fully.
  • Add some vanilla and then mix flour mixture into cocoa mixture slowly, until it becomes completely incorporated, followed by chocolate and hazelnuts.
  • Scoop cookies out of this dough-like mix and place them on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with some sea salt and bake for 12 to 14 minutes and rotate the sheets halfway. Pack when cooled down completely.

  • 1 box vanilla cake mix and ¾ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 package cream cheese 450gms confectioner’s sugar
  • Red gel food coloring and 3 chocolate wafer cookies
  • Cornstarch and white fondant

How to Make It

  • Prepare cake mix and bake in a 9X13 inch pan, according to the direction given on the box.
  • For the frosting, beat butter and cream cheese on low speed for few minutes and then increase the speed and beat confectioner’s sugar until the mix becomes light and fluffy.
  • Transfer the frosting to a large flat tip piping bag and mix red gel food colouring to the remaining mix, and frost the front and sides of the cake with it.
