Store Your Bags Appropriately!

Your designer handbag, as much as it feels like a splurge, is always an investment. It only increases in price. But only if you treat it right and maintain it. With a few tips, you can protect your handbag and get the best possible outcome out of your investment.

  • When not in use, stuff your handbags with tissue paper, bubble wrap, etc.
  • Remove the straps and wrap them individually in tissue paper before storing them inside the bag.
  • Store your handbags upright in the dust bag provided. If storage is not a constraint, store it in the box provided.
  • Never hang them by the handles when not in use. The bags tend to lose their shape and loosen the stitching.
  • Clean your bags as and when needed. You can either use alcohol and fragrance-free wipe or just wipe it clean with a dry cotton cloth in the case of exotic leather.
  • Air the bags out regularly. If you are in a humid climate, make sure the bags are in an air-conditioned room.
  • Separate the handbags from one another when storing. Besides the fact that it looks pretty, it doesn't do any good when your handbags are stored in a tight-packed manner.
  • Make sure your bag is not stored under direct sunlight like near a window. It can spoil the material, be it canvas, nylon or leather.
