  • 2 cucumbers

  • Slice the cucumbers in to 7 inch long pieces
  • Take a melon scooper and remove the flesh from the cucumber. Form a cup with that.

  • Take out the cucumbers and add a small filling in each cup.

It is a quick and tasty dry snack. You can make bigger batches of this one over the weekends. It is also a vegan snack and has various health benefits with taste. The chivda is mildly spicy and has a crispy texture.

    Ingredients
  • 3 cups thin poha
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 4 to 6 curry leaves
  • 1/4 cup raw peanuts
  • 1/4 cup roasted chana dal
  • 2 tbsp cashew nuts
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar
  • salt to taste


    Method
  • Heat a deep non-stick pan and dry roast the poha on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir them continuously until they turn crispy. Then keep it aside.
  • Heat oil in a deep non-stick pan and add curry leaves and mustard seeds in it.
  • After the seeds crackle, add peanuts, roasted chana dal and cashew nuts. Mix them well and cook them on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes while stirring continuously.
  • Add the roasted poha with chili powder, powdered sugar and salt. Mix them well and cook it on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes. Keep on stirring it continuously.
  • Keep is aside so that it can cool down.
  • Store in an airtight container.

Bhel puri is a famous street snack. It is tasty and very easy to make as well. Apart from that, you can satisfy your taste buds with this snack too. It is a good idea to prep some of the ingredients in advance.

    Ingredients
  • 2 cup murmura
  • ½ onion, finely chopped
  • ½ potato, boiled & cubed
  • 3 papdi, crushed
  • 3 tbsp mixture
  • 2 tbsp fried peanuts
  • 2 tbsp tomato, finely chopped
  • ½ tsp chaat masala
  • ¼ tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp tamarind chutney
  • 2 tbsp green chutney
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp sev
  • 1 tsp coriander, finely chopped


    Method
  • Take 2 cups of mumra. Dry roast them if they are not that crispy.
  • Add ½ onion, ½ potato, 3 crushed papdi, 3 tbsp mixture and 2 tbsp fried peanuts.
  • Add 2 tbsp tomato, ½ tsp chaat masala, ¼ tsp chilli powder and ¼ tsp salt
  • Add 3 tbsp tamarind chutney, 2 tbsp green chutney and 1 tsp lemon juice and mix the ingredients well.
  • Add 2 tbsp sev and mix it well.
  • Top it with crushed papdi.

    Ingredients
  • 5 ounces bag tortilla chips
  • 16 ounces cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/3 cup chopped canned green chilies
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup salsa
    Method
  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees celsius.
  • Lay the tortilla chips on a cookie sheet and sprinkle onions and chillies on them.

    Method
  • Take a non stick vessel and heat olive oil in it.
  • Add jalapenos first and then let them sautee for 1/2 minute.
  • Add parsley and saute for 1/2 minute.
  • Then add the broccoli, red capsicum, green capsicum, carrots, French beans, balsamic vinegar and salt to taste.
  • Cook it for 3 minutes.
  • Add 4 tbsp tomato salsa.
  • Mix it properly and then serve it hot.

    Ingredients
  • 2 eggs
  • Flour
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Bread crumbs

    Method
  • Mix two eggs in a bowl with 1/4th cup of water
  • In other bowl add some flour. Take the third bowl and put some bread crumbs in it.
  • Take mozzarella cheese and cut it in to sticks.
  • Coat each stick with flour and dip it in the mixture of egg and water.
  • After that, roll the sticks in bread crumbs.
  • Again dip it in the egg mixture and also the bread crumbs.
  • Now fry them. Fry until they turn in to yellow-golden colour or the cheese starts coming out.

Oven-Baked Garlic-Herb Potato Chips

    Ingredients
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 2 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 2 sprigs fresh oregano
  • 1 medium potato
  • 1 small sweet potato
  • ¼ teaspoon coarse sea salt or table salt

    Method
  • In a small saucepan, heat oil, garlic, thyme, and oregano over medium-low heat for 15 minutes. If garlic starts to bubble, turn heat to low.
  • Remove from heat. Let it cool and remove garlic and herb sprigs from the oil.
  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper; brush the paper with some of the 2 tablespoons herb-infused oil.
  • Scrub the potatoes and cut them with a size of 1/8 inch thick.
  • Arrange russet potato slices in a single layer on one of the prepared baking sheets; arrange sweet potato slices in a single layer on the other prepared sheet.
  • Brush tops of potato slices with the remainder of the 2 tablespoons herb-infused oil.
  • Bake potatoes, one sheet at a time, for 24 to 26 minutes or until potatoes are golden brown, turning potato slices once halfway through baking.
  • Sprinkle lightly with salt. Serve immediately
