Strawberry Limeade is a refreshing summer drink made with fresh strawberries, lime juice, and sugar. It is tart, sweet, and absolutely delicious!

Ingredients:-

  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar chopped strawberries
  • 3 cups of cold water.

Instructions:-

  • Add sugar to 200 ml water and heat on a medium flame. Stir to combine until dissolved.
  • Allow the syrup to cool to room temperature.
  • Add freshly chopped strawberries and this syrup in a blender. Blend until smooth.
  • Combine lime juice, strawberry syrup, and 2 cups of cold water.
  • Add lime wedges, and garnish with a strawberry or mint leaves, as you fancy.

Cucumber Lemonade

Cucumber and lemon go perfectly together to make cucumber lemonade, which is super healthy!

Ingredients:-

  • A large cucumber
  • 1 cup lime juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar or honey
  • 3 cups of cold water, ice

Instructions :-

  • Cut the cucumber into small slices and blend well with water.
  • Once blended, add lime juice and sugar and blend again until smooth.
  • Pour cucumber puree through a fine-mesh strainer.
  • Add 3 cups of cold water and stir well.
  • Pour into glasses with a few slices of lemon and cucumber.
  • Serve cold.

Khus Sherbat

Khus syrup with lemon juice makes a refreshing drink that helps you stay hydrated in summers.

Ingredients :-

  • Khus grass(50-70g)
  • Juice from two lemons
  • 300g sugar
  • 3 cups of cold water
  • Ice cubes

Instructions:-

  • Remove the roots from the grass and rinse it under tap water to remove mud or dust particles.
  • Chop the grass into small pieces using kitchen scissors. Add 4-6 cups of water in a vessel and soak the grass in it for about 12 hours.
  • Strain through a juice strainer and collect the extract in a pan. Add sugar to the extract and allow it to boil until the sugar dissolves. The mixture will turn sticky like honey after 80 minutes of boiling and stirring.
  • Pour the hot syrup in a jar and allow it to cool. Add lemon juice and a pinch of black salt. Stir well.
  • Add cold water and a few ice cubes to the lemonade. Serve chilled.

Panakam

Panakam is a traditional beverage made with jaggery, water and cardamom powder. It is considered to be auspicious prepared on special occasions in South India.

Ingredients:-

  • 2-3 cups of drinking water
  • 4 tablespoons of jaggery
  • Pinch cardamom powder
  • Pinch dry ginger
  • A pinch of salt and black pepper
  • One lime

Instructions:-

  • In a saucepan, add 2 cups of water and the jaggery. Stir well and allow the mixture to stand for about 40 minutes or boil the mixture for 5-10 minutes.
  • Filter the mixture into a jar in order to remove impurities and add 2 tablespoons of lime juice.
  • Add a small amount of ginger powder,1/2 spoon cardamom powder, 1/6 tablespoon of black pepper, and a pinch of salt.
  • Mix well and cool for a while. Add ice cubes, if required.
  • Serve cool.

Egg Cream

The egg cream is a cold beverage consisting of milk as the main ingredient. Ironically, it contains neither egg nor cream yet it is chocolatey, creamy, and delicious anyway.

Ingredients:-

  • 1 cup milk (cold)
  • Bottled seltzer water (cold)
  • Chocolate syrup

Instructions:-

  • Pour cold milk in a glass.
  • Pour seltzer slowly into the glass, you should see a creamy foam developing on the top of the drink.
  • Add chocolate syrup into the glass and stir to combine.
  • Serve with a straw.

Non-Alcoholic Sangria

Sangria is a traditional Spanish drink made with fruits, nuts, fruit juices to give absolutely delicious fruity flavours.

Ingredients-

  • 3 cups grape juice
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • Sparkling (carbonated) water
  • Chopped fruits (2 Apples,2 Bananas,2 Peaches, Grapes, Strawberries)
  • 2 tablespoons of lime juice
  • Ice

Instructions:-

  • Take grape juice in a jar and add orange juice and lime juice to it. Stir the mixture well.
  • Add sprinkling water and chopped fruits to the mixture. (apples, bananas, strawberries, grapes, peaches).
  • Place the Sangria in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
  • Serve iced.

  • 1 large watermelon
  • Lime juice(2 medium-sized lemons)
  • Honey

  • Remove the outer skin of the litchis and discard the seeds.
  • Wash the fleshy pulp and add the litchis in a blender.
  • In a blender, make a smooth puree of the litchis.
  • Squeeze the lemons into the blender jug and add sugar to your taste.
  • Add cold water and stir until thoroughly combined.
