Aam Panna
It is made using the king of fruits – the mango. Though mangoes come in different varieties, you can use anyone in preparing this fantastic drink. It is known to have the broadest appeal, and you can also add in some mint leaves, jeera and cumin for added flavour.
To make Aam Panna, you need to pressure cook a raw mango for around four to five whistles. After cooling, you need to scrape the mangoes and blend the pulp in a blender. You can add some spices to the blender along with some sugar. Once it is ready, you can serve with a few ice cubes.
Nimbu Pani
Nimbu pani or lemonade is another favourite energy drink. You can find numerous makeshift joints selling this energy drink. It is easy to make, but you need juicy lemons first and also add some spices.
To make nimbu pani, you need to take chilled water and squeeze some lemons based on the amount of water you have taken. To this, you need to add some mint leaves along with jeera powder. Also, add salt and sugar as needed. You can add a few more ice cubes, and the nimbu pani is ready to be served.
Bel Sherbet
Bel, or wood apple, is known to be good for digestion and boosting your immunity. Having bel sherbet increases your energy levels and purifies your blood. You can break open the outer woody coating and have it. Or wait for someone to make sherbet for you.
Once you break open the outer shell, scoop out the pulp and mash it well along with some water. Strain the mixture using a strainer and add some jaggery or sugar as needed. Some spices can also be added as per your tastes. Drop some ice cubes, and the sherbet is ready.
Coconut Water

You can make the coconut tangy by adding some lemon juice and honey along with some mint and other spices you like. Also scrape off the coconut meat from the sides and add them to the coconut water. You may add some ice cubes to have it.
Sugarcane Juice
Another thela that is quite common is sugarcane juice. Apart from being an instant energizer, it is also a diuretic that prevents infection in the urinary tract and ensures the kidney functions well. It is also known for its skincare properties and improves digestion too.
Once you have separated the sugarcane extract, you can add lemon juice and black pepper and other spices. Add some ice cubes and have them. Pudina ka Sharbat
Mint leaves are an integral ingredient in many juices and sherbets in the summer season. You can also have a dedicated sherbet with pudina as the primary ingredient. Pudina is known to cure headaches, aid digestion and treat the common cold. It also helps in oral care.
To make the sherbet, you must blend the pudina leaves into a soft puree. Now, add some water to it along with some spices like pepper powder, black salt, and cumin powder. You may also add some honey and lemon juice. You can have it after adding a few ice cubes.
Lassi
This yoghurt based is quite popular across the country and is delicious and nutritious too. The lassi has numerous recipes, and a variety of flavours can be added to it. There can be variations like banana, mango, mint, avocado, etc.
You must use homemade curd to make the lassi and whisk it till it is smooth. You may add some chilled water to ensure you have the ideal consistency. You may then add the spices of your choice and whisk again. Finally, you can add some cream and garnish with some nuts.
