Aam Panna
Quite popular in Maharashtra, Aam Panna is prepared with riped or unripened mango, which is the most popular seasonal fruit in summers. This juicy drink is just perfect to keep you going in the harsh summer days. The desi recipe is easy to make and helps in fighting against the heat waves.
For this, boil mangoes and squeeze out their pulp. Now, mix ½ cup sugar, 2 tsp salt, 2 tsp black rock salt, 2 tsp roasted and powdered cumin seeds, 2 cups water and 2 tbsp finely chopped mint leaves. Enjoy this mixture along with ice.
Kesar Pista Lassi
You can create so many amazing summery drinks and juices just with milk and its by-products that you are going to thank us later for it. This Kesar Pista Lassi here is prepared with curd/thick yoghurt, and when enjoyed chilled, it tastes like heaven.
Add 1 cup curd, 1 tbsp sugar, ¼ cup fresh cream, 3-4 saffron strands, 1 tsp pistachios and a few ice cubes in a mixer grinder. Blend them nicely until all ingredients get mixed well. Serve this drink chilled with garnished dry fruits and saffron strands.
Paan Gulkand Sherbet
Paan Gulkand Sherbet or Paan shots is one of the most delicious and definitely the easiest summer drinks recipe in this list. You need fresh Paan (betel) leaves for it which can be easily found on local paan shops.
For this, blend 6-7 betel leaves with little water in a jar. Now, take this puree in a bowl and mix 4 cups chilled milk, 4-5 tbsp gulkand, ½ tbsp. soaked sabza seeds, 1tbsp rooh afza and chopped dry fruits. Mix them all well, and you do not need added sugar in it. This refreshing drink is so healthy and so delicious that you won’t have enough of it!
Buttermilk (Masala Chaas)
Chaas is one of the most loved summer juice recipes in the entire North-Indian region. It is often enjoyed after lunch, and you can even find it as a welcome drink at many households in India. Chaas is prepared with churned yoghurt, and you can prepare it differently each time.
Mix ¾ cup curd, black salt, chaat masala, cumin powder, black pepper, dried and crushed mint leaves and salt (all as per taste) in a jug. Use a hand blender to churn them smooth and then add water to dilute everything. Serve with coriander leaves on top.
Watermelon Juice
Watermelon rich in Vitamin C. Watermelon juice is a cooling drink for summers, and it is great for your cardiovascular system too. You can create a variety of watermelon juices by experimenting with various ingredients.
In this recipe, Chop 1 watermelon into small pieces and remove seeds then blend it with 2-3 tbsp gulkand, rock salt as per taste, ice cubes and a few pinches of chaat masala. Mix them well and then enjoy when it is still chilled.
Sattu Sharbat
One of the most traditional juice recipes for summer is Sattu Sherbet. It caught the attention of urban population when people found out that you can literally replace your protein shake with sattu sherbet because of the benefits it provides.
To make Namkeen Sattu Sherbet, Add one cup chana sattu, 4 cups chilled water, 2tsp grated raw mango, 2tsp lemon juice, ½ tsp roasted cumin powder, 2tbsp chopped mint leaves, 1 chopped green chilli and black salt as per taste in a jug. Mix well and serve with ice cubes.
Mango Iced Tea
Give your regular iced tea a little twist by adding mango flavour in it. This is one of the quickest summer juice recipes you can make in your kitchen. And as mangoes are abundantly available in summers, you have to try this recipe asap!
Prepare puree of 2 ripe mangoes and refrigerate it. Now, heat 4 cups of water with 2 tsp tea leaves then leave it cool down. Refrigerate this black tea, then in a jar, add mango puree, 1 tbsp lemon juice, sugar as per need and chilled tea and blend them. Serve with mint leaves for garnishing.
