Bugatti La Voiture Noire is the most expensive car ever made at $19 million. Built to celebrate Bugatti’s 110th anniversary, the car pays tribute to Type 57 SC Atlantic from the 1930s. Only one Bugatti La Voiture Noire was ever made. The Rolls-Royce Sweptail is a one-off commissioned work and is the most expensive Rolls-Royce at $13 million. This car which took four years to complete draws inspiration from the brand’s classic 1920s and 30s models. John Hennessey, the founder of Hennessey Performance has claimed that Venom F5 will be 450kg lighter than Chiron and will have more power than it.

Another car challenging to dethrone Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ as the world’s fastest car is SSC Tuatara. It has a 5.9-litre supercharged V8 engine that produces 1,750 hp on E85 or 1,350 hp on 91-octane fuel. Jerod Shelby, CEO of SSC North America, claims that the aerodynamics of SSC Tuatara will be better than Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ and Hennessey Venom F5. 100 SSC Tuatara are scheduled to be manufactured at a factory in West Richland, Washington.

If we go by official records, Koenigsegg Agera RS is the second-fastest car in the world after Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+. The car, driven by Koenigsegg factory driver Niklas Lilja, attained the speed of 284.55 mph during its first run and 271.19 mph during the second. The average of these two runs is 277.9 mph, which is regarded as the top speed of Agera RS.
