  • Salt (to taste)
  • Sugar – ½ teaspoon
  • Garam Masala Powder - ½ teaspoon
  • Ghee or Clarified Butter - ½ teaspoon

    Step 1:
  • Marinate the washed chicken pieces with salt and turmeric powder for 30 minutes.

  • Heat oil in a pan, add the whole spices (cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon) and cumin seeds.

  • Take a grinding jar. Pulse sweet corn and water into a fine puree.

  • Coconut oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Small pearl onions (Sliced) – 5

    Step 1:
  • Heat coconut oil in a pan. Add the whole spices and sauté for a few seconds.

  • Step 2:
  • In the pan, add onion, ginger, and garlic and fry until they turn translucent.

  • Step 3:
  • Sauté green chilies and curry leaves with the onions.

  • Step 4:
  • Add the cleaned chicken and sauté for a few minutes.

  • Take the whole chicken and clean it well.

  • In a bowl, add olive oil, turmeric powder, garam masala, and mix well.

  • Secure the onions, ginger, garlic, whole spices in a cheesecloth and fasten it tightly.

  • Step 2:
  • In a pressure cooker, add the chicken pieces, water, salt, and place the cheesecloth filled with spices.

  • Cook all the ingredients in high heat for 10 minutes and allow the pressure to release naturally.

  • Discard the cheesecloth bundle.
