Best Mocktail Recipes with Orange Juice

Simple Orange Mocktail Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 2 cups zero sprite/any soda of your choice
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Sugar as required
  • 1 slice of fresh lemon
  • Mint leaves for garnishing

Method:

  • First, take a large bowl and put the orange juice and lemon juice in it. Here, you can use either canned orange juice or even fresh oranges, if possible.
  • Now, mix the ingredients and stir them for a minute before taking a blender putting the ice cubes and the mixture in it.
  • After this, blend them together for a minute or two, and take a glass and pour your drink in it. You can also add ice cubes in the glass, if required.
  • Lastly, put soda over the top of the refreshing chilled drink, garnish it with a lemon slide, fresh mint leaves, and serve with a cold straw.

Shirley Temple Mocktail Recipe

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup orange juice
  • ½ cup lemon-lime flavoured beverage or soda
  • 1 tbsp grenadine syrup
  • 1 maraschino cherry
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices for garnishing
  • Cold straw for serving

Method:

  • Firstly, take a clean bowl and add the orange juice and lime soda to it.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup orange juice
  • 8 ounces sparkling water
  • 2 tbsp grenadine syrup

  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 1 straw, some mint leaves and a lemon slice for garnishing

  • Take a tall glass and put the orange juice in it.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cranberry juice
  • 1 cup blood orange juice
  • 2 tbsp orange blossom water
  • 2 tbsp white sparkling grape juice
  • Few salted almonds, green olives, and dried cranberries
  • Some nibbles for decoration

Method:

  • Firstly, take a large bowl and put cranberry juice, blood orange juice, and orange blossom water. Mix these ingredients well and stir them for a minute.
  • Next, take the mocktail or champagne glasses and pour it in them.
  • Now, top up the glass with sparkling grape juice. Make sure all the juices are chilled to have a more delightful experience.
  • Once you are done with your drink, decorate it with almonds, green olives, dried cranberries on threaded nibbles and serve chilled.

Sparkling Blood Orange Mocktail Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz. fresh or packed blood orange juice
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp vanilla essence
  • 4 oz. lime sparkling water
  • Few slices of blood orange and lemon for garnishing
  • Ice cubes
  • Cold straw

Method:

  • Take a mason jar with a lid or a cocktail shaker and add blood orange juice to it.
  • In the next step, you are required to add honey and vanilla essence to the juice.

  • 1 orange sliced
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 1 lime sliced

  • 1 cup white grape juice

  • ½ cup lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 720 gm sparkling apple cider

  • Firstly, take a four-quart glass pitcher, and gather all the ingredients.
  • Now, start by layering ½ of the lime, lemon, and orange slices at the bottom of the pitcher.
  • Next, add ½ of the chopped and cored apples at the bottom as well.
  • Once you are done with the first layer, repeat this with the remaining fruits to make a second layer.
  • Afterwards, pour all your juices in the pitcher and use a skewer to stir it.
  • Later, cover the pitcher with a lid or a plastic cover and put it in the refrigerator overnight or for 4 hours before serving.

  • 2 cups Florida Orange Juice
  • ½ cup lemon juice
  • ½ carbonated water
  • ¼ cup regular water

  • First, take a bowl or a mason jar with a lid, and add Florida orange juice, regular water and lemon juice. Mix all the ingredients and stir them well.

  • Next, pour this drink into the glass and let it cool down, and top up the glass with the carbonated water.

Virgin Mimosa Mocktail Recipe

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup orange juice
  • 3 tbsp limeade or lemonade
  • ½ cup Zero Sprite
  • Ice cubes
  • Sugar, as per taste

Method:

  • To make this amazing refreshing summer drink, firstly, you are required to take a bowl, and add the orange juice and Sprite to it. Now, mix them well.
  • Next, add lemonade in the same bowl and stir it. However, make sure all the liquid ingredients combine well.
  • After this, add sugar in the glass according to your taste.
  • Now, take a glass and fill it with ice cubes and pour the juice in the ice-filled glass.

Great Snacks to Accompany Orange Juice Mocktails

Crab and Fritters

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 20 gm unsalted butter
  • 2 cups sweet corn
  • 1 tbsp dried chilli flakes
  • 1 tbsp baking soda
  • 30 gm chopped coriander
  • 40 gm polenta
  • 70 gm plain flour
  • 3 finely sliced spring onions
  • 1 litre vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 185 ml buttermilk
  • 250 gm cooked crab meat
  • Hot sauce and lime cheeks for serving

Method:

  • First, take a pan and put some oil in it.
  • Now, adjust your flame to medium and add butter as well. Saute this for twenty seconds and then add sweet corn kernels, dried chilli flakes and spring onions in the same pan.
  • Next, saute all these ingredients for 3-4 minutes or until they become tender and add a dash of salt and pepper according to your taste to add more flavors.
  • After this, transfer this mixture to a bowl and let it cool down to room temperature.
  • When this mixture cools, add the crab meat, coriander, plain flour, polenta, buttermilk, baking powder, and egg yolks in it. Then, mix all these ingredients together until the mixture becomes thick.
  • Later, take another bowl and whisk the egg whites in it along with sea salt. Make sure that firm peaks are formed and then take 1 tablespoon of this whisked egg whites and add it in the corn mixture.
  • Gradually, add the egg whites and mix them well.
  • Once you are done with this, take a small saucepan and heat some oil in it.
  • Now, carefully add the spoonful of corn mixture in the hot oil and cook on all sides. Wait until they turn golden brown, and, then, transfer them to the plate and sprinkle some sea salt over them.
  • Serve them with lemon cheeks and hot sauce.

Crispy Rajma Starter Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 30 gm rajma
  • 4-5 tbsp plain flour
  • ¼ tbsp chilli powder
  • ½ tbsp crushed black pepper
  • ½ tbsp tandoori masala
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Salt according to your taste
  • Oil for deep frying

Method:

  • Firstly, soak your rajma in water for 4-5 hours or overnight before the day that you are going to prepare this snack.
  • Next, put the rajma in a pressure cooker and cook it until it becomes tender. Be sure that you do not over-cook it or it will become soft and mushy.
  • In the next step, take all the dry ingredients like plain flour, chilli powder, tandoori masala, salt and powdered black pepper. Add 1 tablespoon of oil and mix all the ingredients well.
  • Now, add water to the mixture and make a smooth and dense batter.
  • After this, dip each rajma bean in this batter and deep fry it in the hot oil until the colour of the rajma changes to golden brown, and serve them with mint chutney or chilli garlic sauce.

Tomato and Pesto Profiteroles

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup water
  • 40 gm butter
  • ½ cup plain flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 whisked eggs
  • 250 gm cream cheese
  • ¼ cup basil pesto
  • 45 gm pine nuts
  • ¼ cup fresh basil leaves

Method:

  • Firstly, pre-heat the oven to 200°C and line 2 baking trays with some oil before putting the baking paper in them.
  • Now, take a saucepan and heat the oil and butter in it before adding the plain flour and salt in the pan and sauteing it for 2-3 minutes. Next, set aside the mixture and let it cool down.
  • Afterwards, transfer the dough to the bowl and add eggs to it. Use an electric beater to beat the mixture until it becomes thick and smooth.
  • Once you are done with this, cover the tray with some dough and sprinkle some water over it before reducing the heat to 160°C and cooking it for a further 15 minutes.
  • Later, use a knife to make some slits at the edges of the profiteroles and bake for 5 more minutes before cooling them down.
  • Cut the profiteroles in ½ and spread cream cheese on the base.
  • Lastly, add pesto, basil, tomatoes, and pine nuts on the top and serve warm.
