Making Slime With Toothpaste and Shampoo
Ingredients:
- Shampoo

Procedure:
- Add a dollop of shampoo into the bowl. It is of paramount importance to use a shampoo that is of thick consistency. If you can get a shampoo that is opaque in nature or white in color, it would work better. So add the thick shampoo about 2 tablespoons.
- Add 1 to 2 drops of food coloring if you are making use of white shampoo. The smell of the shampoo should be kept in mind. A minty smelling substance is always better and will work better than a substance with a fruity smell.
- This minty smell is what you will get with the toothpaste. A small amount of any gel toothpaste should be added into the shampoo in the bowl. A white colored and minty toothpaste will work better, however, if you don’t have it, you can use the striped kind. One teaspoon of toothpaste is good to add into the shampoo.
- With your spoon, stir the shampoo and toothpaste together. The continuous stirring of the substances will produce a gooey substance. It usually takes about 1 minute to get this gooey substance.
- Other things which you can use to stir, apart from a spoon, are toothpick or Popsicle stick.
- You can add more toothpaste and shampoo only if it is necessary and continue to stir. If the slime produce is too hard, add more shampoo. On the other hand, if the slime produced is too oozy, more toothpaste should be added.
- The slime should be stirred again for one minute or until there is uniformity in texture and color. Making slime has no right way or wrong way. It is mostly based on your preference.
- If your slime is somehow too gooey, you have nothing to worry about as you can freeze it. Freezing slime will firm it up. You should freeze it for about 10 to 60 minutes. After 10 minutes, check the slime to know its texture. A slime is expected to feel firm.
- Freeze it again for more 50 minutes if it is squishy. The slime should be kneaded until it soft again. With your fingers roll and squeeze it until it is soft and squishy again. The texture of the slime before you freeze it won’t be the same.
- Play with your thick slime and put it away after playing. It should be kept in a plastic container that has a cover.
Making Slime with Toothpaste and Sugar
Ingredients:
- Bowl for mixing
- Water
- Toothpaste
- Sugar
- Spoon
Procedure:
- Start by adding a tablespoon of crest gel toothpaste in the bowl. With your spoon, stir it well.
- Add ½ tablespoon of water in it and use your spoon again and mix the mixture very well.
- ½ tablespoon of sugar should be added to the mixture of water and toothpaste and stir it very well until it produces a thick liquid form.
- Continue to add a ½ tablespoon of sugar and water into the mixture and continually mix together by stirring well.
- However, stop adding water and sugar when you have a solid material from it. The solid material is known as slime.
- Remove it from the mixing bowl and using your hands, knead it. The slime is ready to use or to play with.

Making Slime with Baking Soda
Ingredients:
- Milk
- Bowls for turning
- Vinegar
- Coffee filter
- Baking powder
Procedure:
- Start by adding 7 spoons of milk and 1 spoon in a cup and mix them together.
- A solid shape will be formed which you should allow sinking at the bottom.
- Remove the watery part with a filter.
- Allow the solid to settle then add baking soda of about ¼ spoon to it and squeeze together to form slime.
Making Slime with Shaving Cream
Ingredients:
- Bowl
- Glue
- Shaving cream like Gillette
- Contact lens solution
Procedure:
- Make the slime by first adding and stirring glue in your bowl.
- You add color to it if you want. If you add the color, stir it together with the glue and then add some quantity of the Gillette shaving cream and mix them together in the bowl.
- Add contact lens solution in the bowl containing the mixture and stir it well.
- As you stir the mixture, keep adding contact lens solution until it does feels fluffy. Press it with your hands.
- You can now play with your ready slime.

- Bowl and spoon which are for turning and stirring
- Water
- Glue

- Glitter or food coloring though it is optional

- Add water and glue in the bowl and mix them very well.
